ST. LOUIS — U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey and drug czar John Walters will be joined by foreign officials Wednesday in St. Louis to discuss efforts to fight methamphetamine.

Mukasey and representatives from Mexico, Canada, China and Germany plan to sign a statement calling on nations to intensify international cooperation in the fight against the drug.

The Department of Justice said U.S. law enforcement officials and foreign representatives will participate in the National Methamphetamine Chemicals Initiative conference in St. Louis. It’s being organized by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.
