Missouri softball beats Texas

Missouri junior pitcher Stacy Delaney gave up only two hits in a 4-1 victory against to Texas on Sunday in Austin, Texas. Delaney improved to 17-3. Missouri freshman Rhea Taylor stole three bases to set Mizzou’s single-season record with 48, which also leads the nation this season. Taylor also scored three runs. Senior Amanda Renth led the Tigers with two RBI. Missouri improved to 40-13, earning its first Big 12 road win of the season. Texas dropped to 24-17-2. The Tigers travel to Iowa State on Wednesday for their last mid-week doubleheader of the season.
