Hickman boys lacrosse team loses to DeSmet

The Hickman boys lacrosse team lost to DeSmet, of Creve Couer, 5-4.

The Kewpies (3-3) recieved three goals from senior Mason Poage against DeSmet (7-2). Senior Andy Messenger scored Hickman's other goal. Seniors Thomas Eckles and Nick Stohlgren added two assists apeice. Senior goalie Dan Hurst had four saves.

Messenger helped the Kewpies win the majority of faceoffs in the game.

Hickman will play Chaminade on Saturday and then will play Parkway South on Sunday afternoon at Hickman High School. Sunday's game will mark the first time in club history that the team will play on Hickman's stadium field.
