Gymnast, golfer named Varsity M Association's Student-Athletes of Year

Gymnast Alicia Hatcher and men’s golfer Peter Malnati were named the Varsity M Association’s Student-Athletes of the Year at a banquet Wednesday. The award honors one male and one female student for their academic and athletic success as well as community involvement.

At the same banquet, football player Chase Patton was given the Director of Athletics Leadership Award. Patton received a $5,000 scholarship from the MU Department of Athletics for postgraduate studies.
