Naomi Beatrice Burns
Naomi Beatrice Burns of Boonville died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at University Hospital. She was 92.
She was born June 11, 1916, in Boonville to Robert and Pearl Mae Crockett.
She was a member of the Morgan Street Baptist Church, where she was a Sunbeam teacher, a member of the Senior Choir, WMU, Circle #2 and a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include one sister, Janet Malachi of Detroit; three daughters, Frances Littlepage of Columbia, Pearl Calhoun of Detroit and Marilyn Miller of Kansas City; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Five sisters and one brother died earlier.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home, 405 Sycamore in Boonville. Services, conducted by the Rev. T.J. Huskey, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
