Greg Mitchell's Profile

Greg Mitchell is a native of Park Ridge, Ill., and is a junior newspaper journalism major at MU, and currently on the public safety beat. He has interned at NBC5 (WMAQ-TV) Chicago for legendary Chicago television news personality Art Norman. He also spent two years as sports editor and one year as editor-in-chief of his high school’s newspaper Southwords (Maine Township High School South, Park Ridge, Ill.). Like any good native of the North Side of Chicago, he has a deep passion and love for the Chicago Cubs, which was passed down by his grandfather and father. He has traveled extensively with his parents all over the United States and to Lithuania and England as well.
